Ancient Evenings Jewelry with a Story 14K Gold Gift Set
Early hunter gathers lived in many cave systems throughout the world. Groups of cave dwellers once lived for a period of time in a bluff overlooking the Rio Grande river, in Texas. They inhabited the region far back in time, huddling in bluff "shelter caves" to escape the cold, wind and rain. They sought safety in them at night from wild animals and other nomadic groups. They left behind pictograph art and hieroglyphics that told their story, and no doubt danced in the light of ancient evening campfires.
We have obtained this ancient, dated charcoal from a privately owned shelter cave, located on a precipice overlooking the Rio Grande river. This charcoal has been scientifically dated to about 2,000 BC, from an "ancient evenings" site. It has been beautifully wire wrapped in 14K gold and accented with a fire-colored citrine accent.
The matching earrings are made of black onyx and they were wire wrapped in 14K gold and also accented with golden citrine accent.
The set is shipped in a quality jewelry box with information about the jewelry, Certificate of Authenticity. Chain not included. Also included is cave dwelling site and radiocarbon dating analyses information.
This is probably one of the most interesting and unique jewelry sets in the world! Older than the Anasazi culture!
Size of the Pendant: 2 3/4" L X 3/4" W X 1/2" D; Size of the earrings: 1 3/4" L X 1/2" W X 1/4" D
The charcoal has been stabilized with jewelers sealant to prevent it from rubbing off on clothing and to protect it from breakage.
