Native Terrestrial Iron from Disco Island, Greenland. Actually a mixture of iron with a small amount (5-20%) of nickel...the whole core of Earth is believed to be made of this.

Also common in meteorites, but very rare on the surface of Earth, where virtually 100% of all iron has been altered to the various oxides we use as iron ore.

Comes in a 1 1/4" hinged perky. Specimen is 17mm tall.
