Experience the Surface of the Moon!

The Moon rocks returned to Earth by the Apollo astronauts from the lunar surface are a priceless national treasure. They are NOT available to students and collectors to handle and study closely. This set, however, uses the research done on the actual Moon rocks to identify the closest Earth rock analogues available from around the world.

Seven specimens are presented that allow a "hands-on" approach to teach the fact that the Moon and the Earth are very closely related, and made of much the same materials.
