The ocean resources of our planet are vast and largely untapped. Below the surface of the waves lie hidden deposits of valuable metals, gas, oil, minerals and more.

This attractive set contains 7 rocks and mineral samples, which cover the most important ocean deposits. One of the samples is a manganese nodule recovered from the floor of the Pacific Ocean, at a depth of over 3,000 meters (almost 10,000 feet)!

These samples are displayed in a 5 inch by 7.5 inch snap-close plastic case, and each set includes a detailed information sheet.
