Prayer Fulgurite

This fulgurite is called the “prayer fulgurite.” They are called this because of their cylindrical appearance and straight open ends are very suitable to be used in praying. It is believed by many metaphysical groups that during and after prayer that by blowing through the fulgurite tube the prayers are more purely cast to God, who created the fulgurite with lightning. Only 6 fulgurites in about 100 have a suitable shape for use in metaphysics.

Scientifically, these tubular shapes are typical of lightning striking sand. Lightning's high energy will melt or vaporize the sand and form amorphous glass with temperatures reaching 30,000°K.

The “prayer fulgurite” is not fragile as many fulgurites and is suitable for more frequent careful handling.
